Tom was a poor man without a home. He loved his dog Jake like his family. One day, Tom left Jake outside a fire station. He left a sad letter, too. He wanted firefighters to help his dog.
The firefighters found Jake and read the letter. They helped Jake and also looked for Tom. Some kind people helped Tom, too.Soon, Tom got a small camper (野营车) to live in. The firefighters adopted (收养) Jake.
